Cabinetry installation in progress in a walnut kitchen — 8:28 site imagery
Remodeling · Chester County★ 5.0 · 39 Google reviews

The craft the reviews are about.

Kitchens, bathrooms, basements, and whole-house remodels — fixed-scope proposals, documented milestones, and a crew standard that runs from the first walkthrough to handoff.

The honest problem

Remodels fail on process, not taste

Most remodel regret isn't the tile choice — it's vague scope, drifting timelines, and a contractor who goes quiet mid-job.

8:28 runs the opposite system: selections and a fixed-scope proposal before demolition, milestones documented as the build moves, and Kenny — the owner — on site and reachable.

Four crafts, one standard

  • Kitchen remodeling — layouts, cabinetry, lighting
  • Bathroom remodeling — wet rooms, tile, waterproofing systems
  • Basement finishing — suites, media rooms, family zones
  • Whole-house remodels — coordinated multi-room renovations

How the work runs

Step by step

01

Consult

An in-home walkthrough with Kenny. The project, the constraints, and the honest scope — before anyone talks finishes.

02

Design

Selections, drawings, and a fixed-scope proposal. Documented milestones, so the build has a paper trail, not a handshake.

03

Build

Qualified trades, documented milestones, and a clean jobsite standard — the site treated like someone's home, because it is.

04

Handoff

Punch list, care guides, and a final walkthrough of the finished rooms, together.

Objections, answered

Before you ask

Do you provide fixed pricing?

Yes. After design and walkthrough we issue a fixed-scope proposal so change orders are the exception, not the business model.

How long does a typical kitchen remodel take?

Most full kitchens run 6–12 weeks on site after selections lock. Partial refreshes can be faster; structural moves extend the schedule.

How do you handle bathroom waterproofing?

We treat waterproofing as a system — substrate, membrane, slopes, and ventilation — not a single product claim.

What if our basement has moisture concerns?

Moisture is assessed before finishes are discussed. Below-grade work is planned around drainage, insulation, and egress so the finished space stays comfortable and legal.

Can we live in the home during construction?

Often yes, with a plan. We map dust, access, and daily workflow before demo day — including a temporary kitchen plan on kitchen jobs.
